Q. What are the areas of data cleanup that each PALNI institute should conduct before migrating?

These are some initial suggestions on how to prepare for a migration:

Complete any major weeding projects before migrating. Start these soon so as to avoid migrating unnecessary data.
Consolidate the number of shelving locations in WMS (remove unnecessary locations)
Remove World Cat holdings for records for physical items that do not have LHRs attached

Once we start our consultations with Equinox, we will have a clearer understanding of the specific areas to prioritize for metadata cleanup.
