Q. What are the areas of data cleanup that each PALNI institute should conduct before migrating?

These are some initial suggestions on how to prepare for a migration:

• Complete any major weeding projects before migrating. Start these soon so as to avoid migrating unnecessary data. 
• Consolidate the number of shelving locations in WMS (remove unnecessary locations)
• Remove World Cat holdings for records for physical items that do not have LHRs attached

Once we start our consultations with Equinox, we will have a clearer understanding of the specific areas to prioritize for metadata cleanup.
